Armenian-born writer Marlene Zaedyan was born in Lebanon, and her family history bears the wounds of forced relocation after the Armenian Genocide. Her book Nine Lives Endless Dreams: A Survivor’s Story of Genocide and War explores perseverance and survival, two topics that she cultivated as a child growing up throughout the Lebanese Civil War. Outside of writing, Marlene is a happy grandma of two, a daughter, and a loving mother to two special needs kids. She is married and lives with her cherished dog, Mango.
