Pittsburgh-based O’Brien Communications was formed in 2001 to provide clients with national-agency and client-side experience with the enhanced cost-efficiencies that only an independent corporate communications practice can provide. Decidedly nimble, O’Brien has built strategic alliances with other seasoned consultants to give clients the resources required when needed.

 

Owner Tim O’Brien has over 25 years of corporate communications experience, including ten years as a senior member of Ketchum Public Relations and four years as Director of Communications and Investor Relations at a publicly traded firm, in addition to prior experience in advertising, broadcasting and journalism.

 

We believe the purpose of communication is not to complicate the simple, but rather to simplify the complicated, and in doing so help clients achieve favorable outcomes, whether it’s strategic development or crisis and issues management, or a routine media relations or writing project.
