O~Ten Coffee was established by Khaled Fakir, a passionate coffee enthusiast with a vision to bring authentic coffee flavors to Bangladesh. His journey began in 2021 with PT Otten Coffee Indonesia, where he gained in-depth knowledge of coffee craftsmanship, including ethical sourcing, precise roasting, and expert brewing. This experience shaped his belief that coffee is more than just a drink; it is a culture built on quality, understanding, and passion. During his time at Otten Coffee, Khaled developed a strong appreciation for natural process coffee, where beans are dried with the fruit intact to enhance natural sweetness and complexity. Unlike the hybrid, commercially processed coffees commonly available in Bangladesh, this method delivers richer, more distinctive and authentic flavors. Realizing that many local coffee lovers had never truly experienced high-quality specialty coffee, he saw an opportunity to elevate the local coffee scene. O Ten Coffee was created to introduce organic, naturally processed beans to Bangladesh while supporting ethical and sustainable farming practices.
