Overview
Purpledecks is a senior software engineering firm based in Ireland, in the EU, working since 2012.
Building is most of what we do: complete software products, customer portals, backends and operational systems, designed, built and shipped by senior engineers, start to finish. We also take over stalled, broken, inherited and AI-built codebases and bring them to a production-ready standard. And we run fixed-scope technical due diligence, the Readiness Audit, for teams facing an investor, an acquirer or an enterprise security review.
We build regulated and connected medical-device software to the standard that applies, under the client's quality system: IEC 62304 and IEC 62366-1 under your ISO 13485, with our software risk analysis feeding your ISO 14971 file.
The proof is on the record. For ResMed we built the software for the S+, their first consumer product: the app beside the device and the platform behind it. It reached market. For Fire1 we built the original Bluetooth Low Energy SDK for their implantable cardiac device. For Someone Like Me we built a cancer peer-support platform and its moderation system. RTÉ's news apps, the Centra app for Musgrave, and work for Eir and Fáilte Ireland sit alongside them. Sage acquired the accounting software we built.
You work directly with the senior people who do the work. No juniors, no subcontracting, no offshore hand-off.
Twelve sectors since 2012, one of them medical devices. We follow the problem, not the industry.
