Just this moment, this collective journey. Time is what we own, and we owe it to each other to make it count.Ed, founder of Split, knows the watch world inside out. An industry built to measure time, yet often out of touch with it.He trained at the Longines factory in the late '90s, followed by time at the Vacheron Constantin manufacturer in Switzerland. Ed went on to become brand manager and oversee the distribution of Blancpain, Audemars Piguet, Hublot, Vacheron Constantin, and Girard Perregaux in the UK.But Ed wanted to build something different. Something honest. A watch with grit, soul and purpose, rooted in craft but not bound by tradition.He always admired the bi-compax chronograph for its clarity and quiet confidence. And Seiko, especially their early two-register automatic chronographs, for their bold, substance-first innovation. That spirit stuck with him.Like many, Ed has faced his own struggles with mental health. That experience became part of the drive to create something more meaningful.
