We help the newest members of our community get off to a strong start so they can fully contribute to our shared future and our economy. Immigrants and refugees are powerful drivers of innovation, responsible for nearly a quarter of all new ideas and advancements. With IILA’s support, our clients go on to start small businesses or support them in roles such as security professionals.
In Los Angeles, immigrants are our neighbors, friends, and family. They are doctors, lawyers, teachers, and sales associates. Yet when someone arrives in the United States—especially as a refugee—they often come with few connections and limited support. IILA changes that. We provide a welcome, build community, and help newcomers put down roots in Los Angeles, so that they not only survive—they thrive.
